Psych Ward Greeting Cards - Our program was founded in 2019 with one hospital — the same hospital where I was hospitalized twice. Today, we partner with 8 hospitals: 6 in New York and 2 in Connecticut. Each month, we donate a minimum of about 300 cards. We owe a debt of gratitude to our donors who contribute many cards, but we are equally grateful to those who make small donations — like Gena from Maine. The more donors we have, the more variety we can offer. Everyone has a unique way to express love and care, because love comes in all shapes and forms. Gena is a great example — her beautiful cards are delicately crafted using felt, a first for us. I love them. So yes, we welcome small donations. Touching just one person can be magical. And sometimes, all it takes is one card. This month patients received cards from Carrie of MD, Deena of OR, Dina of FL, Elizabeth of RI, Glenna of WA, Joanne of WI, Susan Marie of NY And extras: chocolate by me and Linda We are now accepting cards for the July 4rth holiday. Deadline for receiving donations: June 13th. Psych Ward Greeting Cards donates greeting cards, chocolate and small gifts to psych ward patients.
