The Giving Tree
The Giving Tree is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization in Portland, Oregon providing resident service coordination to residents living in subsidized housing. We engage vulnerable populations in art, life skills development and recreation to reduce isolation, increase personal resilience and build healthier communities. We deliver programs in the apartment communities in which residents live, removing obstacles of transportation, encouraging neighbor to neighbor support and helping residents to learn, grow and thrive in a supportive environment. The Giving Tree is dedicated to helping low and fixed income seniors, veterans, people with mental illnesses, physical limitations and developmental disabilities realize their fullest individual potential.
