Texas Land & Mineral Owners Association : Protecting and enhancing private property rights for Texans TLMA provides one united voice for all members - advocating for common-sense laws and regulations that do not discourage oil and gas development, but that insist on respect for the private property rights of land and mineral owners. To create a business and legal environment that is accommodating to the continued exploration for, and the production of oil and natural gas by ensuring that the rights of both mineral and surface owners are protected.

Since the beginning of the shale plays Texans property rights regarding surface and mineral ownership are being assaulted on a very regular basis at all levels of government. What happens at the state legislature at the Railroad Commission of Texas and in the courts directly affects your assetsyour land your minerals your rights. But you have a family a job a life.
