Freedom and Whiskey Equine Rescue is a 501c3 non-profit organization dedicated to the rescue, rehabil Freedom & Whiskey Equine Rescue is a nonprofit, 501c3, dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation, and rehoming of equine animals in need. We are also one of the only horse rescues in Virginia that provide long-term geriatric care for elderly horses with nowhere else to go. Our goal is to rescue animals that we feel have the greatest chance at successful rehabilitation and rehoming, but sometimes our rescues don’t end up finding their forever homes. For these unlucky souls, we are their forever home and we provide them with the care, compassion, and love that they deserve.
