The USBGA is a non-profit founded in 1953 to increase awareness of blind golfing in the US by hosting tournaments & introducing junior players to blind golfing. The United States Blind Golf Association is a non-profit founded in 1953. The goal is to increase awareness of blind golfing in the United States through hosting tournaments and introducing junior players to the love of golfing. The United States Blind Golf Association (USBGA) is an organization for blind and visually impaired (B&VI) individuals to learn, compete and challenge other B&VI members to participate in the game of golf. Golf tournaments and clinics are held throughout the year at various locations throughout the United States. The USBGA strives to increase public awareness of B&VI golf by conducting youth and adult clinics across the country that teach blind, visually impaired individuals and anyone else with vision challenges to learn the skills, values, social aspects and opportunities that golfing provides.
