Humboldt Park Dog Park, Inc.
The mission of the Humboldt Dog Park Initiative is to work with the City of Chicago and Parks Department to create a Dog Friendly Area in Humboldt Park. The organization will promote responsible dog ownership and community involvement. We want a safe place for our dogs to socialize without disturbing other patrons. Humboldt Park is one of Chicago’s largest parks. Our desire is to bring a Dog Friendly Area to Humboldt Park to enhance the community and safety of the park. Creating a dog park is a grass roots project fully funded and mostly executed by the community. We are a small group of dedicated dog owners that want to improve and advocate unity in our neighborhood.
