MAF also engages in outreach and collaboration with local entities to ensure widespread access to critical services.

Funding and Support

MAF has received financial support from both federal and state entities, including funding from the Ryan White Care Act. These resources have enabled MAF to expand its services, employ dedicated staff, and establish formal programs.

Leadership

The foundation is led by a highly effective team that includes experts focused on HIV/AIDS education, prevention, and harm reduction services. Key leadership positions include roles dedicated to education and awareness, particularly among underserved populations like LGBTQ+ youth.

Impact

By providing free and confidential services, MAF has become a crucial resource in Maui County, addressing the specific needs of its diverse community members. The organization's mobile clinic initiative aims to overcome barriers to healthcare access, especially in areas affected by recent wildfires and those with limited transportation options. Through its comprehensive services and community engagement, MAF continues to enhance the quality of life for individuals in need across Maui County.
