Founder of Unite for Safe Medications. Patient advocate. Son is a liver transplant survivor. Mail-order pharmacy is risky & shouldn't be the only option. Unite for Safe Medication seeks to save lives and advance patient outcomes by improving access, quality, and safety of pharmaceutical care across the United States. UFSM believes in several important health-care rights: 1. Mail-order pharmacy should never be forced or left as the only option. 2. Life-saving medications should be properly handled. 3. Patients should always have options and coverage with a pharmacist who knows them personally. 4. America’s trusted pharmacies should be paid fairly. To defend these rights, UFSM educates others about these issues, gathers resources, performs research, and encourages safe access to medications, thus putting choice and peace of mind back in the hands of patients.

Unite For Safe Medications Unite For Safe Medications Because relationships with pharmacy staff along with safe access and handling of medications are critical to patient care and outcomes. Patients Must Be Prioritized Our advocacy began with mail order pharmacy issues. After starting a petition with over 220000 supporters to stop the forcing of mail order we realized that mail order pharmacy was a small part to a much larger pharmacy issue. We started Unite For Safe Medications to unite organizations healthcare professionals patients and caregivers to improve medication access and pharmaceutical care.
