Mission and Vision
WriteHive seeks to create a safe, diverse community by providing free, inclusive events and resources to writers, especially those from marginalized communities. Its vision is to ensure that everyone has access to a supportive and empowering literary environment.

- WriteHive Lite: A virtual weekend retreat where writers work directly with professional editors to receive feedback and critiques.
- Sponsored Writer Awards: Annual scholarships of $500 awarded to writers to support their publishing journey. Recipients also receive resources and feedback.
- Mentorship Program: A program that pairs new writers with experienced mentors across different publishing paths, offering guidance and feedback.
- Annual Anthologies: Collections of short stories published annually, with all proceeds supporting WriteHive's programs.
- Indie Ink Awards: Co-created awards to recognize and celebrate independently published works with inclusive themes.
- Silent Auction: An annual fundraiser where donated items, such as books and writing services, are auctioned to support WriteHive's events.
Governance and Founders
WriteHive is run entirely by volunteers and is led by a board that includes Jerusha René, Dakota Rayne, and Rowan Zeoli. Each founder brings unique expertise and passion to promoting diverse voices in literature.
Financial Support
As a nonprofit organization, WriteHive relies on donations to maintain its free programs. Contributions are tax-deductible and essential for supporting the community's needs.
