MISSION STATEMENT The purpose and goals of the Oklahoma Adoption Coalition are to Promote adoption as a positive option for children who need the security of a permanent and nurturing familyPromote the best interest of the child as the primary focus of all adoption practices and lawsPromote a recognition of the rights responsibilities and needs of all members of the adoption triadPromote the use of licensed Child Placing Agencies for the delivery of adoption servicesPromote the development of quality standards for adoption practices within the legal medical social work and mental health professionsHow to file a complaint or grievance regarding adoption related providers RESOURCES FOR ADOPTION adoption information resources for adoption helpful links GET INVOLVED The Oklahoma Adoption Coalition meets twice a year once in the Spring in Oklahoma City and once in the Fall in Tulsa. Meetings will be for the full day.
