Happy June (already)! This month is brought to you by one of our Permanent Fosters, Bitsey. Bitsey joined in 2024 STLSTR from North Carolina. Yes; a bit out of our territory, but the sister of one of our adopters, Janet, had a friend who needed a home for Bitsey because she could no longer care for her. Jenn and Scott, also adopters, were happy to have Bitsey join their home, and Scott was anxious to get Bitsey started on his weight loss regimen. Bitsey rocks a sun dress like no other, but what you DON’T see is that it doesn’t quite meet in the middle on the under side. As promised, we would like to welcome one-year-old Casey to STLSTR. Casey just celebrated her first birthday on Wednesday at the Frazier B&B. Her metamorphosis from the fluffy butt to the beautiful was made possible by our friend, Brad. Thanks for working your magic, Brad! Casey’s story is that she was purchased as a companion for another dog, and it didn’t work out. Vicki is taking Casey to see Dr. Dan this morning before she continues her journey to a home where she can be the one and only. What a perfect way to say good-bye to the month of May!
