Autism Fits
Autism Fits, Inc. is a non-profit organization focused on educating the public to create a more accepting space in society for autistics, and people with other neuro divergent disorders. We are one of the very few autism organizations actually entirely staffed by neurodivergent women, most of us, with autism. We provide diversity training to show corporations the value autistics, and other neurodivergents, can add to their company, and how to hire and accommodate us. It often takes just a few small changes, at little to no cost, to open up a whole world of opportunity to an otherwise ostracized group, typically pigeonholed into poverty-wage jobs. With an 80% unemployment rate, there is a great need for change in the industry. One that is not generally being discussed by the bigger organizations. Our first year in operation was spent developing our program, and beginning our online presence. As such, we had no costs or income.
