He was Bergenfield High39s first 100 wrestling match winner and went on to wrestle at Ursinus College in Collegeville PA. Danny died tragically in 2012 after sustaining severe brain trauma from a motor vehicle accident on the way to a fellow Ursinus wrestling teammate39s funeral. Danny was an organ donor and through his generous gift of life was able to save and enhance the lives of many including that of his Little League coach Ed Mooney who received Danny39s liver.
