Park Ridge Friends of the Parks
To build broad based private and public partnerships to support the conservation and enhancement of Park Ridge parks and green spaces as well as attract local sponsors for programs and facilities. Park Ridge Friends of the Parks is the fundraising organization to support the Park Ridge Park District. Our mission is to support the Park District in providing quality recreational resources for all citizens of Park Ridge and preserve our green spaces. The foundation raises funds to plant trees on park district property, provide scholarships for park district programs to local residents in need, and support a licensed clinical social worker for our senior citizens. The Park Ridge Friends of the Parks is currently managing a capital campaign to build an outdoor nature classroom for the park district preschool.
