Haki Yetu, meaning “Our Rights" in Swahili is a 501 c(3) non-profit organization dedicated to promote the rights of individuals living in marginalized and disenfranchised communities where human rights are violated. Haki Yetu is committed to empowering individuals, families and communities to act in defense of their own rights by giving them the tools to overcome the barriers created by societal problems. Through a wide range of programs, advocacy and services, focusing on upholding human rights to the highest standards, Haki Yetu works to end injustices, discrimination, violence and other forms of human rights abuses.
