McGehee's Class of 2025 graduated on the front lawn on Thursday, May 22nd, in the school's timeless tradition of long pink dresses. The Class of 2028 began the ceremony by carrying in the daisy chain they made for the seniors. Student Body President Addison Dodson welcomed guests, and speakers included faculty member Genie Stern, Dr. Kimberly Field-Marvin, Laura Shaw Shields '72, and Alumnae Association President Carter Jahncke Perrilliat '98. Valedictory addresses were given by Addison Dodson and Elyana Espinoza, with a class reflection from President Maliah McKenna. Diplomas were presented by Dr. Field-Marvin, Laura Shields, and Noel Waddington. The celebration continued with the turning of class rings and ended in true New Orleans fashion—with a second line.
