Empowered Women, Empowering Women Our model is simple, partner with anyone who can help to address the issue of homelessness. Our Mission is to provide a healthy, safe environment for homeless women and children that offers opportunities and encouragement for achieving self-sufficiency. By providing shelter and resource options through a partnership of providers, UP for Women and Children is where homeless women are empowered to find hope, help, and refuge.

We Exist to Help Women Children We are a drop in day center for unhoused women and their children and marginalized genders. UP provides comprehensive services a safe space shower restroom use of UP telephone a mailing address help obtaining vital documents case management and a place to connect with community resources and providers.

UP for Women and Children is seeking an Executive Director to lead the organization into its next chapter of growth and impact. For nearly a decade, UP has served as a safe, welcoming, and trauma-informed hub for women and children experiencing homelessness in Louisville. We partner with healthcare providers, legal aid, and community organizations to deliver the services families need to thrive.
