The idea for the foundation came from Steve Somers of GardaWorld and Vincent Amadeo a retired NYPD lieutenant who was the Commander NYPD Shield Program and now with TD Bank. Recognizing the need for financial and operational support they envisioned a foundation that supports the mission of the Global Shield Network Make a Difference Make a Difference Your donation will help us continue to provide support to the member agencies of the Global Shield Network in their mission to fight terrorism and fight crime in our communities.
