Third District Guardian Ad Litem Program Inc
We are advocates for local children in Foster Care. Our volunteers speak for their best interests in court, and reduce their chances of being re-abused. The Program is an independent non-profit organization committed to representing the best interests of abused and neglected children who are in Foster Care. We train and supervise community volunteers who advocate for the health, safety, and happiness of this vulnerable population in our communities. As a dedicated advocate for these children, we drastically increase their positive outcomes, by reducing the risk of re-abuse by 50%, reducing the risk of encounters by Law Enforcement by 43%, and increasing the likelihood of the children graduating High School by 800%.

A voice for the voiceless Our CASA Volunteers are mentored and supported by an Advocate Supervisor on staff. With their guidance CASA Volunteers give 58 hours of their time each month to visit the child learn about what is going on in their world and write a report to help the Judge know how to best support the child during their time in foster care and beyond. Our unique role is to advocate for whatever is in the child39s best interest.
