Who we are Since 1989 NCCC has worked to protect land throughout the North Chickamauga Creek watershed for preservation education and recreational access. The Watershed North Chickamauga Creek flows from the top of Waldens Ridge to the Tennessee River at the Chickamauga Dam sustaining a 25000 acre watershed with a variety of forest and riparian zones. With almost 20 miles of the Cumberland Trail and 3 separate tributaries with Class IV whitewater North Chickamauga Creek is a local gem for outdoor enthusiasts.
