We believe that collective liberation is intertwined with personal healing. Our mission is to create models of safe and thriving communities and economies. Our community space brings residents of Oakland together to build wholeness, a sense of safety, and democratic wealth. We envision an Oakland that celebrates our inherent interconnectedness, where communities feel safe and a restorative economy and a thriving cultural community support residents. We build towards a world where the community controls our city's resources democratically. We envision a world where healing isn't seen as a luxury, but rather a valued part of building people power.
