
Hefflin Legacy Foundation
Hefflin Legacy Foundation (HLF) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization with a mission to conduct academies, seminars, share the curriculum that exposes children to the role Leon Hefflin Sr. and others played in the African-American Jazz and Swing Music movement during the Jim Crow Era. HLF also showcases the contributions that various African-Americans made to the science and aerospace industries and their connection to our local community that supported the music environment.
