Upstate Pups of NY | dog rescue By providing a temporary home foster families offer dogs a safe and loving environment where they can recover socialize and learn essential behaviors that prepare them for permanent adoption. This compassionate act not only helps reduce the overcrowding in shelters but also gives each dog the individual attention and care they need to thrive. Fostering saves lives and enriches the lives of both the dogs and the families who welcome them into their homes. Fostering is not a tryout before adoption but instead an opportunity to be a part of the adoption journey for a pup in need.
