The New Haven Schools Foundation offers programs to benefit the students and teachers of the New Haven Unified School District. Our mission is to light the way for the leaders of tomorrow by helping support quality education in our community. Our community-based scholarship program provided $242,000 in scholarships in 2024, in partnership with employee groups, local businesses, civic organizations, and families. Together, we help students achieve a higher education. We also fund classroom projects and extra-curricular activities in our schools. - Classroom Innovations - Teacher grants. - Project: Enrichment - Extra-curricular programs. - Brian Kelly Fund – Literacy and early child development. - Virginia Swihart Fund – New teacher supplies - STEM Grants - Science & Tech
