Today we had the privilege of leading a parade of fire trucks from New Bedford, Dartmouth, Fairhaven, Mattapoisett and Marion to celebrate a very special student at Jacobs Elementary in New Bedford. Jaziah, a first grader at the school, has been out on leave while facing some serious medical issues. This morning, his classmates had a chance to welcome him back and celebrate him for his courage. It’s always remarkable when so many people in the community come together for a common cause. (fb)

We had the opportunity this week to get up to Boston to present Rick and Matt St. Jean from @rally2give with their recognitions from #nationalsuperheroday. Rally2Give is an awesome charity that supports a bunch of great causes, particularly children and families with special needs. They have done a ton for us too over the past few years. We are very proud to be associated with such a special nonprofit, that shares so many of our common passions. (fb)
