The Friends of Jack Foundation organizes overlooked healthcare-focused programs for children in the greater SouthCoast region of Massachusetts. To provide financial, social, emotional and referral support and assistance to children and their families in Massachusetts who are undergoing medical treatment, hospitalization, receiving emotional and mental health services and are the subjects of first repsonders.

We had the opportunity this week to get up to Boston to present Rick and Matt St. Jean from @rally2give with their recognitions from #nationalsuperheroday. Rally2Give is an awesome charity that supports a bunch of great causes, particularly children and families with special needs.

Today we had the privilege of leading a parade of fire trucks from New Bedford, Dartmouth, Fairhaven, Mattapoisett and Marion to celebrate a very special student at Jacobs Elementary in New Bedford. Jaziah, a first grader at the school, has been out on leave while facing some serious medical issues. This morning, his classmates had a chance to welcome him back and celebrate him for his courage.
