The goal of the Debra D. Smith Scholarship Foundation is to provide graduating seniors with financial assistance for post high school education. Debra Smith was a motivator and an uplifter. She made her sons and all of their teammates and friends feel like she was their biggest fan and that they could do ANYTHING they put their mind to. In June of 2015, Debra was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer. For many, that would be the end of the story. Debra worked and fought the cancer head on up until her last breath in August of 2017. It's that fight that she instilled in so many over the course of her life. Our goal at the Debra D. Smith Foundation is to continue her legacy of motivation and love through community outreach and an annual scholarship.
