The Locus Initiative
The Locus Initiative is a pledge-based platform built to connect and mobilize the next generation of givers. To accomplish this goal, we ask that members of Locus pledge at least 1% of their annual income, 1% of their working time, or some combination of the two to a general cause that resonates with them. Through our work, we are helping charities alleviate issues in poverty, health, education, the environment, and the like, by bringing in a new diverse source of donations and needed help on the ground. Upon signing and following through on the pledge, members join a community through which they hear from influential leaders across industry speak about their careers, and more importantly, how they incorporate giving into their lives.
