SUMMER VOLUNTEER DATES: https://lotproject.org/events/ WHAT VOLUNTEERS DO: We generally like to have 10 volunteers at each service. Let ks know how many you have and we’ll fill the rest of the spots if needed. The "agenda" for each of our services is: set up, visiting/fellowship, worship service (music, message, prayer), meal, donation distribution, and pack up. LOT shows up with with tables, chairs, and donations we've taken in. Volunteers help unload and set up the tables & chairs, serve the meal, then organize and hand out the donations (clothes & hygiene). 💕Mother’s Day💕 The ladies Sunday School class at Galilee helped me fill some purses this morning with all kinds of sweet little things for our moms at LOT. Thank you to all who donate to make special days like this possible!! It means more than you’ll ever know! Billy cooked 15lbs of ground beef and then we made what felt like 10,000 sloppy joes together! HA! But let me tell yall what, they loooooved them!! Not a drop left! Since it was just the two of us, we opted for an abbreviated service, which was fine! We served the sloppy joes w/ chips and drinks, then handed out socks & hygiene. Sweet Mrs Esther came to help hand out the purses. 🙏 We had a nice afternoon of fellowship with old and new friends! 🥰 Please say a special prayer for all the moms who are experiencing homelessness today. 💕 (fb)
