Ryman Arts | Transforming Lives Through The Arts

Ryman Arts provides free advanced drawing and painting classes along with college and career planning for motivated teenagers with high potential. Ryman Arts transforms lives by creating access and opportunity for a diverse community of young artists through rigorous education in fundamental art skills and mentoring. Since 1990, Ryman Arts has empowered over 36,000 creative, promising youth across Southern California through its core program, outreach, and community engagement efforts. Now serving 500-600 students annually, this free, 1½-year-long, out-of-school program integrates rigorous fine arts instruction, college and career counseling, mentoring, and supportive services for talented young artists with limited opportunities. Ryman Arts students complete the program ready to meet the challenges of college, work, and life in the 21st century.

Celebrating 35 Years Empowering Over 40000 Young Artists Through Creativity Transforming lives by creating access and opportunity for a diverse community of young artists through rigorous education in fundamental art skills and mentoring From a single drawing class for 12 students in 1990 Ryman Arts a 501c3 nonprofit organization has grown to serve over 500 students annually. We offer intensive outofschool studio art instruction college and career guidance art supplies and support servicesall at no cost to the student. Our Program Ryman Arts offers FREE advanced studio art education that is designed to help young artists strengthen their art skills and prepare for college and a career in the arts.
