The Wild Beauty Foundation is a 501c3 organization dedicated to the protection of wild horses, wolves, and wildlife through film, education, rescue, and illumination. Founded by filmmaker Ashley Avis. The Wild Beauty Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit devoted to protecting the wild and domestic horses of our world today through film, education, rescue, and advocacy. Founded by Black Beauty filmmakers Ashley Avis & Edward Winters, WBF utilizes its unique platform in entertainment to craft programs for children, perform boots-on-the-ground adoptions of horses in need, along with other innovative efforts to bring awareness for horses to the international stage.

For the first time in history, a bipartisan Congressional Wild Horse Caucus has been formed— uniting lawmakers across party lines to protect America’s wild horses and burros. Led by Reps. Dina Titus (D-NV), Juan Ciscomani (R-AZ), David Schweikert (R-AZ), and Steve Cohen (D-TN), the caucus is pushing for humane, science-driven solutions—including an urgent shift away from the Bureau of Land Management’s cruel helicopter roundups. Nevada Congresswoman Dina Titus said it best: “These animals are icons of the American West and deserve to be treated humanely.” We couldn’t agree more. Now, it’s time to expand this effort.
