Sofie update from her dear mom💗 your prayers are working everyone🫶🙏 I just got home from visiting her. She could barely open her eyes, and only half way because they gave her pain meds. But I was able to pet her and talk to her. The doc said she looks better than yesterday. There was improvement in the fluid in the lungs, which they verified with their spot ultrasound and an xray.. She can’t breathe outside of the box. She’s at 93% out of the oxygen box but 98% within and they are hoping that will improve. They had to lower the amount of diuretic, because they gave her a high dose and it affected kidney values, but not severely, just as expected. They started to lower the oxygen in the box, but it was too fast. She is eating, and they gave her pain meds, her normal gapabentin, so she is sleepy. The doc seemed hopeful the progress will continue. Thank the Lord!❤😄✝ Thank you for your prayers, care and concern. Sofie/Sophie could use some really good thoughts, prayers and whatever higher being our followers, adopters, fosters and donors believe in🙏 her mom alerted us that she’s been admitted to Blue Pearl and is currently in one of their oxygen chambers. Last night she started to have problems breathing and she’s now been diagnosed with heart failure. This came on fast, we are all holding our breath that our little granny rallies and has more time to continue living her best life. She is 1/2 of a bonded pair (Charlie her kennel mate at the shelter depends on her and he’s frankly lost without her). Keep their beloved mom in your thoughts as she’s missing her girl❤️.
