We work toward the prevention of homelessness and creation of lasting solutions for homeless and at-risk families and individuals throughout Colorado. Creating Lasting Solutions to homelessness in Colorado for over 30 years. The Mission of the Colorado Coalition for the Homeless is to work collaboratively toward the prevention of homelessness and the creation of lasting solutions for families, children, and individuals who are experiencing or at-risk of homelessness throughout Colorado. CCH advocates for and provides a continuum of housing and a variety of services to improve the health, well-being and stability of those it serves. Since its founding 40 years ago, the organization has earned state and national recognition for its integrated healthcare, housing and service programs. The Coalitions comprehensive approach addresses the causes of homelessness, as well as the consequences, offering critical assistance to over 20,000 individuals and families each year.

Colorado ranks as the 10th least affordable state for renters, according to National Low Income Housing Coalition's 2025 Out Of Reach Report — a slight improvement from last year’s #8 spot. Even in the cheapest areas, rent is still out of reach for low- and moderate-income families. Raising minimum wage helps, but it’s not enough to get us out of this housing crisis.

Join the Colorado Coalition for the Homeless tomorrow, July 23 from 12:00-1:15pm for the next online session in our 2025 Education Series: Support-Centered Housing: An Evidence-Based Solution. This session will take place at noon, as a virtual “lunch- and-learn" opportunity. This panel will feature experts from CCH as well as CSH, Urban Institute, and Homeward Alliance who have conceptualized and implemented this strategy effectively.
