Welcome to the Berkeley Community Chorus Our site is under reconstruction Meet our Director Dr. Jeffrey Poland is Professor Emeritus of Musicand former Director of Choral Activities at Fairmont State University in Fairmont WV where he taught for twentytwo years. Previously he had eleven years experience conducting high school church and community choirs in upstate New York New Jersey and Ohio. Poland holds a Bachelor of Music Education degree from BaldwinWallace University a Master of Music degree in Choral Conducting from The Ohio State University and a Doctor of Musical Arts degree in Choral Conducting from the University of Cincinnati CollegeConservatory of Music.
