Collecting and preserving the history of the mountain communities along the old Ridge Route Road To collect and preserve the history of the mountain areas north of Castaic, and south of Bakersfield, California for past, present and future generations.  The area of focus extends into three counties, Kern, Ventura and Los Angeles.
