April 26th is officially XIT Rodeo Day! 🤠 Last night, the Dalhart City Council presented a proclamation designating April 26, 2025, as XIT Rodeo Day—honoring the day we were inducted into the Texas Rodeo Cowboy Hall of Fame. This moment was deeply meaningful for our team of current and past Directors, their wives, and the many community members who support and carry forward the legacy of the XIT Ranch and the XIT Rodeo & Reunion. A heartfelt thank you to Drew Knowles of the XIT Ranch for joining us and sharing his powerful words about what this honor means to the heritage of XIT Ranch. We are grateful to the City of Dalhart for standing with us in preserving and celebrating this tradition that has defined our town for generations.
