THE FLORIDA BANDMASTERS ASSOCIATION IS CONCERNED WITH THE PROMOTION AND DEVELOPMENT OF BAND PROGRAMS IN THE STATE OF FLORIDA BY PROVIDING OPPORTUNITIES FOR IN-SERVICE GROWTH THROUGH CLINICS AND CONFERENCES, AND BY ACTING AS A RESOURCE FOR COLLEGE AND UNIVERSITY PRE-SERVICE TRAINING PROGRAMS THAT ENCOURAGE PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT.

Promoting the intrinsic and extrinsic values associated with learning and performing music together Summer Honor Bands Nominations are now open for the NineStar and SevenStar Honor Bands. The NineStar High School Honor Band is an honor band comprised of students who will have completed the ninth grade and the SevenStar Honor Band is for students who completed the 7th grade at the end of the 20242025 school year. They will rehearse and perform at the FBA Summer Convention.
