Avoiding danger is no safer in the long run than exposure." -Helen Keller Second Chance Dog Rescue, a non-profit 501(c)3 organization, is dedicated to saving homeless dogs. We rescue, rehabilitate and re-home dogs primarily from local shelters as well as dogs surrendered by their owners for various reasons. We believe that every dog deserves a SECOND CHANCE. Every dog matters. We are devoted to saving the displaced and abandoned from shelter population; keeping them in safe, healthy foster environments until they are adopted by loving forever families, while promoting animal welfare and the prevention of homeless animals by means of spay/neuter education and working toward the goal of a euthanasia-free community.
