Yolo Diaper Bank
Our mission is to remove diaper-need as a barrier to the health and stability of Yolo County families. Our goal is to become a reliable source of diapers for agencies serving low-income families and families displaced by domestic violence. A lack of adequate diapers affects an entire family and community. Families lacking diapers required to access childcare are forced to miss work or school. Babies not change frequently enough can require medical attention for rashes and infections. Our 200+ volunteers participate in community diaper wraps, deliver diapers, and raising funds. We provide diapers for 6 agencies at 9 locations: CommuniCare, Empower Yolo, Yolo Children Alliance, Woodland Personal Care Pantry, Yolo Interfaith Immigration Network, and Knights Landing Food Closet.
