Larry wasn39t just a reporter he was San Diego39s neighbor constantly shining a light on the unsung heroes and everyday stories that made our community special. After Larry passed away in 2014 we knew we needed a way to keep his legacy alive. That39s why we established the Larry Himmel Neighborhood Foundation with one clear purpose to help people and groups in need throughout San Diego.
