Animal Resource Friends
Friends of Mebane's Animals was originally formed to help those in the Mebane community, however, with so many in need, we quickly outgrew Mebane and now serve clients in all of Alamance and portions of the surrounding counties. Through our partnerships with Burlington Animal Services, the Humane Society of Alamance County, and many of the local rescue groups, we are able to help more people and their pets. Our goal is to allow pet owners to keep their pets, lessening the burden on the shelter and rescue groups. By providing these much needed services, that can some times be beyond the reach of pet owners who are low income or have fallen on hard times, pet surrender and abandonment are greatly reduced. Unfortunately, there are times when a client just can not keep their pet(s) and in those cases, we are there to help advocate and put them in touch with organizations that can help
