SoCal Sea Turtles is a federally-recognized 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to supporting small-scale fisheries through sea turtle harm reduction, education, and sustainable development. 🎣💙🐢 SoCal Sea Turtles is dedicated to ensuring that every person on or near the water knows how to protect our local sea turtles from vessel strikes, accidental catch, and entanglement in debris. We accomplish this goal through targeted boater and fisher education and outreach through our website, social media, virtual and in-person events, as well as working with our partners at the US Navy, the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Association (NOAA), the US Fish and Wildlife Service, and other public and private organizations working to protect California's sea turtles.
