Paz Amigos
The Stewart Detention Center holds 1700-2000 men in Lumpkin, GA. It has housed immigration detainees for over 5 years. Paz Amigos exists to assist undocumented/asylum seekers who have been released from Stewart Detention Center get to their families and friends safely with some food, clothing, a blanket, backpack, toothbrush and, when necessary, a bed at a hotel or with one of our volunteers. We do so with kindness to show them that they are valued as human beings.
