Folkways Community Development Corporation
The mission of Folkways Community Development Corporation is to inspire positive change and self-empowerment in low wealth communities though creative place making programs, including affordable housing for low to moderate income individuals, as well as commercial enterprise, artists residencies, education, and workforce training. Folkways will work collaboratively with local and state government, public/private partners, and others with the common goal of helping low wealth individuals and communities develop a culture of health and wellbeing.
