The Brittany Foundation is a 501(c)(3) dog rescue and sanctuary located in Agua Dulce, CA, (Santa Clarita) that was started in 1994. Our goal for every dog we rescue is a loving forever home, but they have a home here with us for as long as they need it. The Brittany Foundation Animal Sanctuary was created to save the lives of shelter, homeless & special needs dogs. Our rescue efforts focus on dogs which no one else might adopt from "kill" shelters, such as geriatric, disabled, severely neglected dogs. We also rescue puppy mill victims, strays, and dogs from foreclosure and hospice situations. The Foundation alleviates the financial and physical burden on city and county animals shelters and on taxpayers by rescuing shelter dogs. The Foundation searches for and places rescued animals in new homes, thereby providing human adopters the companionship of new dogs in their lives. The Foundation provides a lifetime sanctuary for dogs that are not placed in new homes.
