HOME | The Sisterhood In Me OUR MISSION The Sisterhood in Me Women Empowered in Color is a nonprofit organization centered around women empowerment mentorship and making a difference in the lives of women of color in our communities. We are passionate about changing the narrative of women of color by emphasizing sisterhood issue awareness and community service. EMPOWER SERVICE NETWORK MEET THE COFOUNDERS ALEXIS GOODING Through the Sisterhood in Me Alexis aims to uplift young women from underrepresented communities by connecting them to socioeconomic resources empowering them to seek leadership roles and encouraging them to work cooperatively with each other. She is from Brooklyn New York where she noticed the shortcomings of growing up in a lowincome minority community.
