Mobilizing the music industry in the fight to end hunger by working with artist & their teams to distribute excess food from events to the hungry. Musically Fed works with artists, promoters, management and venues to donate unused backstage meals In the United States alone, nearly 40% of the food supply is wasted each year, according to the USDA. This equates to approximately $161 billion in food loss, that’s 133 billion pounds of food sent directly to a landfill. Despite this massive supply of excess food, 1 in 8 Americans - more than 41 million people - struggle with food insecurity. Musically Fed exists to change this. Musically Fed’s mission is to mobilize the music industry in the fight against hunger by distributing excess food and catering from tours, shows, and events to those in greatest need.

We work with artists promoters management and venues nationwide to donate unused backstage meals to community organizations comprised of at least 50 veterans and who focus on feeding people facing homelessness hunger and food insecurity. Musically Fed identifies the opportunities procures the resources and coordinates all aspects of food handling transport and distribution. Our goal is to make it easy for promoters and performers to leave each city they visit with a lasting positive impact.
