Our goal is to help young people aged 18 and up cope with the loss of a parent, caregiver or sibling by offering a fully supported small-group, week-long backpacking trip with their peers on the Appalachian Trail. To provide grieving young adults a supported wilderness hiking experience that promotes personal growth, self-reliance and therapeutic recreational activity to help in their healing process.
