Friends of Lachat is the fundraising arm of Lachat Town Farm. Lachat Town Farm offers farming and environmental educational experiences for all ages, community-building opportunities, and an important connection with and enjoyment of our land, fostering a happier, healthier and more "grounded" community.

🌿 Rediscover Seth’s Wilderness Playground 🌿 As the weather warms up, it’s the perfect time to enjoy the outdoors — and don’t forget about Seth’s Wilderness Playground, located on the upper field. This beautiful, nature-inspired play space was built just one year ago thanks to the generosity of the Gaynes family, longtime Weston residents, in loving memory of their son, Seth, who passed away at age 14. Built by David Guglielmo, Seth’s Wilderness Playground was designed to blend play with nature, encouraging exploration, imagination, and connection.

🌧️ While it may have been cold and dreary outside today, inside we shared a truly heartwarming Tea Party with our friends at the Weston Senior Activities Center. 💕 Guests enjoyed an elegant afternoon complete with beautiful china, tea sandwiches, scones, and delicious desserts from Gruel Britannia. A special thank you to Melissa from Grace Farms, who introduced us to three exquisite teas they feature—each sip even more meaningful knowing that 100% of Grace Farms Teas’ profits go toward ending forced and child labor worldwide.
