The mission of the Texas Library and Archives Foundation is to support the Texas State Library and Archives Commission and library staff to promote learning, literacy and preserving the history of Texas. Chartered in 1997, the Foundation engages in year-round learning programs, fundraisers and other activities supporting the Texas State Library and Archives and agency programs offering access to archival resources, public records and library materials to improve the lives of all Texans.
