Old Man River Nature Retreat is a 501(c)3 nonprofit PTSD nature retreat dedicated to veterans and first responders. We are committed to offering a holistic and natural approach to healing for Veterans, First Responders, and their families. Our mission is to offer veterans, first responders and their family members a natural oasis of peace and serenity to relax the mind, rejuvenate the body and lift the spirit. Old Man River Nature Retreat is dedicated to learning and sharing time honored practices and holistic approaches to help those who have experienced trauma resulting in PTSD or TBI. Our hope is to assist guests in making small changes in their daily lives to help with healing and finding inner peace. Together we can work to make 22 just a number and not a daily statistic of our veterans’ suicide rate.
